Welcome!
I’m Lauren, an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) & Accredited Nutritionist (AN) with over 12 years of experience supporting adults with a wide range of nutrition needs. I am passionate about gut health & women’s health, and I understand first hand, how overwhelming gut symptoms and hormonal changes can feel. This is why I am committed to making nutrition simple, practical and effective.
Over the years, I’ve worked across hospital and private practice settings, providing medical nutrition therapy for a variety of conditions, including:
Weight management (including supporting those on weight loss medications/GLP-1s)
Gut health, & gut conditions including IBS/FODMAPs, digestive symptoms such as bloating/constipation/diarrhoea/reflux, coeliac disease & food intolerances, such as lactose intolerance
Diabetes, pre-diabetes and metabolic health
Heart health, high cholesterol & blood pressure
Oncology, including upper GI & colorectal surgery nutrition
- Bariatric surgery (certified in the dietary management of bariatric surgery)
I draw on my training in behaviour change counselling to support clients to make sustainable, realistic nutrition changes that help them feel better in their body, improve energy, and maintain long-term health.
Originally from South Australia, I’ve spent many years travelling and living interstate and overseas, and am now settled on the Fleurieu Peninsula with my wonderful family. When I’m not working, you can find me in the yoga studio or spending time with my family outdoors, enjoying all our favourite things – good food and wine, the beach, camping, swimming, or simply exploring the beauty of nature.
I offer one-on-one nutrition consultations, primarily via telehealth Australia-wide, as well as face-to-face consultations locally at Aldinga Beach. If you’d like to know more or discuss how I can support your health and wellbeing, I’d love to hear from you.
